I dress en femme full-time but I'm not on hormones and haven't had surgery. Even if a feminine genetic male doesn't pass as a genetic woman, they can still live their life femininely. In the below thread, I discuss how I started dressing out and about en femme.

Hot pictures of you! Love the hooters outfit! I have plenty of women's clothes but afraid to wear them in public. I've worn women's running shorts before and one time yoga pants/panties//bra/ankle boots with sweater when I got makeup put on me at salon. Girls who did it didn't notice or bat and eyelash:( same when I've gone shopping it was thrill but saleswomen were business as usual:( it was fun but after that became dull as they didn't seem to care but just to make sale. I won't give up. How can I get women to dress me? I don't want to come right out as it wound be shock. I think if I hang out with them and just keep it cool. Though one of girls I met said she wanted me to wear leggings and I told her if she was serious but she said she was only joking. She did say I was sensitive and that was good for me to be this way. With her saying that I think she sensed I could be submissive as well, and she did rip me a new one after she saw me driving off while she was stuck in her driveway with a foot of snow. She told me that she need me to be their for her and I apologized to her and said I would. With that being said I think this friendship went up to another level as I feel this is becoming a relationship which I've never had happen as I never got reamed out like this before. Both her and her friend don't know about my crossdressing what do you think I should do?

Regarding finding a woman who accepts you for your crossdressing, you should place ads on crossdresser-friendly dating sites and forums which have a dating subforum, including perhaps at fetish social websites. Explain what your interests are and what type of woman you would like to meet. Also, reply to the ads of others who seems like they would be accepting of you. That way, since you're out to them from the beginning, you don't have to worry about that aspect. Below are some examples of such dating websites:
