I think you're right Candi.....I've always identified as bi and I know that some of the strongest comments have come from "pure lesbians' ... it's always offputting when someone who is part of an "abused group" becomes the abuser to those in a similar "abused group" ... maybe that's human nature.
BUT I agree with you...legal change is the start of the wider societal acceptance (no not by everyone - you can't legislate thoughts/emotions - but the legal stuff matters!
