I don't leave the house without lipstick. I used to wear it when I was just starting dressing in private, and loved the red. As I started going out dressed, I would wear a neutral shade most of the time, but now I will wear read, pink or whatever, depending on how I'm dressed. I do agree. Even if you are a sissy in private, get yourself some lipstick

It's important to wear colors that compliment your complexion as well as what you're wearing... sounds like you make proper selections! I know you pic here (<-) looks like you're made up nicely

I love wearing makeup! You're so right about finding the right shades Mistress Christine. It can be very confusing trying to find them. I got lucky awhile back and a Revlon makeup kit in the right shades for me. Wish I could find another!

My makeup breakthrough was when I discovered I have a "cool" complexion (y'all are either warm or cool). I think it depends on the undertone color of your skin, I have a pinkish undertone and am a fairskinned redhead.

That's exactly right Dena, it's all about the undertone and complexion. Pale skin that is pinkish or alabaster is typically cool while olive, tan, and darker shades are warmer. A few "lucky" girls are considered neutral and can go either way...

Getting the right shades in makeup is much like the right clothes, it's all about the shopping

Mistress Christine i am getting a little better at applying my make-up.I some times will be home and put it on just to see how well i am doing it.I have to admit when i am applying my black eye shadow i have a little trouble going from using my left hand to my right hand.I am left handed.

Practice makes perfect!I will keep trying and i know you will always be here to give me more tips and to encourage me to help me look my prettiest!

Makeup can be a lot of fun SLSF, and you are so right, practice does make perfect. As you get better at it, you'll learn to create different looks, for daytime, evening, and clubbing and you'll learn the best methods for your face. I think you're doing great!
