I agree, Princess Andi! I like dancing!

The music I like dancing to the most is various forms of electronic music. I like robot dancing. I do my own dance called the Jamie Dance, which incorporates robot-dance elements. But I have to be careful, because the Jamie Dance is potent! So powerful is the Jamie Dance that I once destroyed the heels off of my lady-boots performing the Jamie Dance in a nightclub. I then had to dance barefoot, yet so incomprehensibly powerful is the Jamie Dance that Jamie's own feet are not even strong enough to contain the Jamie Dance! I wore the epidermis off of one of my big toes in performing the Jamie Dance barefoot! Although, praise the Lord, I caught it in time before I made the entire nightclub bloody. And so for the good of the innocent bystanders, I had to retire the Jamie Dance for that night. But only for that night!: until my dance-feet could be reshod.

Below is one of my favorite little ditties that's sure to put some pep in my dance-step, robotic dubstep-style! Indeed, it's my official theme music. It's a 1:38:12 h:min:sec various-artists DJ mixset of dubstep music by Liquid Stranger.

Empress Andi, I love all kinds of dance music but recently I've found that more and more I'm favouring what might be loosely termed 'lounge music', such as sung by various Rat Pack members, and such as Bobby Darin, and Wayne Newton (and of course, recently, Robbie Williams, in his swing albums)

Hi, Goddess Rachel! Thank you for saying so! Although I have to be in the right state of mind and in a festive atmosphere to break out the Jamie Dance. In other words, wherein libations are served and danceable music is played, preferably around other festive people. These days my style of partying tends to be a more halcyon affair. Which I don't mind, as I'm enjoying living a tranquil life with my dear husband. Though I'm certainly up for some vigorous merrymaking should the opportunity arise!

By the way, Goddess Rachel, having looked-up those erudite lyrics that you posted, I watched the music video to the 2000 song "Shake Ya Ass" by Mystikal. That song in turn reminds me of the following tasteful ode from 1989 that was popular when I was a pre-teen and which addresses similar thematic elements:

Someone might actually have video of the Jamie Dance, Goddess Rachel, as I used to go to an '80s-theme Halloween party every year when I lived in Manhattan with my previous boyfriend, as mentioned in my below post (it's in a quote of a previous post). I loved doing the Jamie Dance at those parties, dancing to '80s music! But then, I'm a bit of an '80s girl at heart!
